We made the announcement this weekend: On November 14, The Climate Reality Project is hosting 24 Hours of Reality: The Dirty Weather Report. We’ll be live online for 24 hours across all 24 time zones — showing how dirty weather in a warming climate is changing our lives.

There are many ways you’ll be able to get involved. And if you’re a graphic artist or a designer, we’d like to ask for your help right now.

Climate Reality and the design company Threadless are inviting you to create a T-shirt design to illustrate the meaning of “dirty weather.” As we pollute the air with dirty fossil fuels like oil and coal, we’re warming our planet — and we end up with dirty weather like heat waves, droughts, and rainstorms. And we face epic disasters like forest fires and the devastation of farmland. The list goes on.

Threadless is accepting submissions for the T-shirt design until October 11. Prizes will be awarded to the chosen designer, and we’ll use your design to spread the word about dirty weather and the reality of climate change.

So put your colored pencil to paper, and get started on a T-shirt right away! Visit the Threadless website for more information.
