Climate Reality supports efforts to #FreeTheArctic30

#FreeTheArctic30 greenpeaceWhen friends go out on a ledge to protect what’s important to all of us, we thank them. And when they run into trouble, we step up and support them.

On behalf of everyone at Climate Reality, I want to publicly recognize the 30 Greenpeace activists arrested by the Russian Coast Guard for taking a stand and protesting oil drilling in the Arctic. We join with Greenpeace and people of conscience around the world in demanding their release from prison. These women and men are being held indefinitely without charges for the alleged crime of speaking up to protect the Arctic and our planet from more carbon pollution.

This can’t stand. Add your name, as we have, to hundreds of thousands who’ve already signed Greenpeace’s petition to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak demanding the activists’ release.
