I've been in and out of hospitals, so I can relate. Climate Change has nothing to do with terrorism. The Heartland Institute should be ashamed

Only two types attend Heartland - those who have a profit seeking motive. They line their own pockets and can give a damn less what happens to the planet and all we living creatures. 2nd are the religious Loonies who are extremely ignorant and non-observant as to what the Higher Power (If you believe in one) is showing what happens when too many people start sending too much carbon skyward. The Loonies are so brain washed that they are in extreme denial. They get themselves elected however. Anti-abortion is their key word and stimulus. They also belief dinosaurs were running around a few milennia ago. They believe their man God will appear in the sky and wave a magic wand just in case there is something to this crazy Planetary Heating.

I am a Sioux Indian and a Harper Author. Basically it all gets back to Religion which all is man-made, man-designed, man-controlled, man maneuvered moreso to gain more control. Spirituality is based on Nature which human will never control totally. The Pope focusses on his Vatican Bank not on the real world and denies the extreme danger Over-Population is exponentially causing- hence Planetary Heating. We Spiritual people will win out in the end but not a helluva lot left when we do. Europe mostly & China have already awakened.

As reported by the the IEA carbon emissions were their highest in 2011 and 45% of it was due to burning coal, particularly in China. And yet, "Clean coal" is part of the Obama administraion's "all of the above" energy policy.

I live in a region with some of the most fertile soil in the world. While this isn't a climate change issue, it's definitely environmental. Now, the local communities primarily produce Monsanto corn or CAFO chickens / dairy cows when we have the soil to grow some fantastic produce.

To answer your question though :) there has been changes in when to plant and harvest produce because of climate change.

Wind turbines only work when the wind blows. UK experience is that on average wind turbines only output 17% of their rated value, which means if you want to replace a 2,000 Megawatt coal fired station you will need a 12,000 Megawatt wind farm, and for reliable power it will still have to be backed up by a conventional power station for those times when the wind is not blowing!
