A program of The Climate Reality Project, the Climate Presenters represent a global force consisting of specially trained climate activists who are dedicated to educating people about the urgency and solvability of the climate crisis at a grassroots level worldwide.

With nine official branches and a reach in more than 50 countries, The Climate Reality Project supports more than 3,000 diverse and dedicated volunteers, all personally trained by our Chairman and Founder, former Vice President Al Gore, to present an updated version of the slide show featured in the Academy Award-winning film, An Inconvenient Truth.

Meet the Presenter: Jose Ramon

Jose Ramon is professor of Health Education at the University of Las Palmas Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. For years, Jose was a prestigious international lecturer on tobacco control, and he has found that companies that deny climate change are using the same tactics to confuse the public. He decided to devote his efforts to using scientific evidence to convince people about the reality and magnitude of climate change.

Meet the Presenter: Ergem Senyuva

In 2009, Ergem Senyuva launched yesilist.com, Turkey’s first online “green directory” and sustainability platform. It provides consumers with tools to make smart and healthy choices for themselves and the planet. Ergem’s goal is to increase market demand for sustainable business practices and consumer choices.

Meet the Presenter: Vanessa Morris

Vanessa Morris was the founding Executive Officer of SEE-Change (which stands for Society, Environment and Economy), a sustainability movement based in the Australian capital city of Canberra. She is a former radio broadcaster for the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC) and produced morning shows for stations in Sydney and Canberra.

Maxine Burkett is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Hawaii. She is also the Director of the Center for Island Climate Adaptation and Policy for the University of Hawaii Sea Grant College Program. Her work showcases the disparate impact of climate change on poor or minority communities.
