Urge the EPA to Set Strong Limits on NOx Emissions
The Environmental Protection Agency recently unveiled a proposed rule to limit nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from power plants.
If finalized, new stationary combustion turbines at gas-fired power plants and industrial facilities would be required to minimize harmful pollution and smog caused by NOx.
Nitrogen oxides pose serious public health risks to vulnerable communities and can cause deadly respiratory issues. Without strong standards, new turbines could operate and harm nearby communities for decades to come.
Submit your public comment and urge the EPA to enact the strongest possible standards on NOx emissions from new fossil fuel-fired turbines at power plants.
