Urge Congress to Protect Funds for Climate Solutions & Clean Energy

On his first day back in office, President Trump directed a total pause on billions of dollars in grants and loans from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

As a result, many of the IRA’s clean energy and climate justice projects have been effectively shut down for now– and states and nonprofits running these programs are left in limbo.

Days later, the Trump Administration’s Office of Management and Budget issued a sweeping directive to cut off federal funding nationwide for critical programs that help families recover from climate disasters and save money with clean energy further sowing chaos and confusion as fights continue in the courts.

Now that Russell Vought, President Trump’s pick to lead OMB, has been confirmed, Congress must hold the line and defend our hard-fought climate progress. With federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and climate investments from IRA at risk, we need you to speak out.

Write to Congress and urge them to stop this reckless attempt to roll back the Inflation Reduction Act’s climate investments and gut federal clean energy programs.
