Aditya Pundir
India
Aditya Pundir, a seasoned professional with a background in Geology and Business Management, currently serves as the Director of India and South Asia at The Climate Project Foundation. Trained by the Honourable Vice President of the US, Al Gore, in 2009, he has been deeply involved in climate change and sustainability initiatives in India for over a decade. Aditya's dedication to climate education is evident through his creation of Green Campus Program and Teachers’ Training program, which has successfully trained over 17,000 educators across schools and universities in the country.
His contributions extend beyond education, as he has authored two books on Natural World Heritage Sites for UNESCO, developed five Environment Education CD-ROMs, and crafted eight comics aimed at educating children about environmental issues. Additionally, Aditya has actively participated in formulating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and has lent his expertise to consultation committees on climate change organized by UNDP, World Bank, and UNESCO.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Aditya indulges his passion for travel and photography, enriching his life and broadening his perspective.
