Senior Program Manager EPA Region III Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center; National Wildlife Federation
Alaura Carter is the senior program manager for Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (TCTAC) for EPA’s Region III at the National Wildlife Federation. In her role as program manager, she provides support to the Region III TCTAC program and works closely with the regional hubs. Alaura has worked in the environmental justice and climate space in many roles over the last 10 years. At previous non-profits she worked in environmental advocacy, communications, education, and outreach. Before coming to the National Wildlife Federation, Alaura served as a program manager for The Climate Reality Project’s Climate Speakers Network. There, she worked with communities throughout the US at the intersections of climate and environment with other social justice issues. She is a native of Washington, DC and she is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
