Amanda Katili Niode, a founding member of the International Environmental Communication Association, is the Manager of The Climate Reality Project Indonesia. She previously held a position as the Head of the Expert Team at the Office of the President’s Special Envoy for Climate Change in Indonesia and a Special Assistant to the Indonesian Minister of Environment. Amanda, an environmental management specialist, educator and writer, holds a PhD from the School of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. She received her undergraduate degree from the School of Natural Science and Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. She has been a member of the Indonesian Delegation to Conference of Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) since COP 13 in 2007 up to COP 25 in 2019. Amanda was Indonesia’s National Focal Point for Article 6 UNFCCC (Renamed to Action for Climate Empowerment).
