Amy Westervelt (she/her) is a 20-year veteran investigative reporter who has contributed to The Guardian, Washington Post, Inside Climate News, Rolling Stone, and many more. In 2017, she founded the podcast company Critical Frequency. She was executive producer and reporting manager of “Unfinished: Short Creek,” named one of the best podcasts of the year by The New Yorker and The Atlantic, and “This Land S2,” which was nominated in April 2022 for a Peabody Award. Her climate podcasts Drilled and Damages have both won the Covering Climate Now Award. Drilled also won the Online News Association award for excellence in audio journalism in 2019. Amy has been awarded a Rachel Carson award for women greening journalism, as well as an Edward R. Murrow award in 2015.
