Carina Barnett-Loro
Co-Director; The Climate Advocacy Lab
Carina Barnett-Loro (she/her) is co-director of the Climate Advocacy Lab – a movement support organization committed to evidenced-based approaches for building multiracial, cross-class power, and winning equitable solutions. She is an experienced campaign and communications strategist and has facilitated over 200 trainings for climate practitioners. Prior to joining the Lab in 2015, Carina spent six years running local and state climate and energy campaigns as an organizer with the Sierra Club and Union of Concerned Scientists. She holds an BA in environmental sciences & policy and Latin American studies from Duke University. Carina lives in Durham, NC, and outside of work, enjoys hiking, gardening, and planning her next scuba diving trip.
