Colleen is the policy analyst on the science and solutions team at The Climate Reality Project. Growing up with a passion for exploring nature, she decided to study ecology at Pennsylvania State University. During that time, she assisted in a research lab dedicated to understanding the effects of climate change on invasive species. Interested in expanding her interdisciplinary knowledge, Colleen went on to obtain her MA in environmental policy from Lehigh University, where she focused her studies on environmental justice. She also joined a local political campaign as a legislative assistant with a concentration on conservation and renewable energy initiatives. Prior to joining Climate Reality, she worked at a law firm specializing in CERCLA litigation. In her free time, Colleen enjoys reading, crocheting, and exploring new restaurants.
