Courtenay Brown
Evaluation Director
(She/Her/Hers) Courtenay Brown is the evaluation director for The Climate Reality Project. Courtenay earned her master of arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2012, with an emphasis on public policy and statistical methods. She has researched municipal climate change adaptation in the American West, the effect of land use politics on deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon, and the politics of reducing the illegal wildlife trade. Courtenay's experience prior to graduate school includes several years working in venture capital in the San Francisco Bay Area, and assisting plant physiologists researching climate change during her undergraduate years
