Programmes Officer – Capacity Development Unit; West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI)
Farouk Alhassan is the programmes officer – Capacity Development Unit at the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI). He is responsible for the design and implementation of WACSI’s capacity development programs, and designs and manages institutional assessment tools, training, and technical support for the Capacity Development Unit. Prior to his current position, Farouk served as a project officer with Right to Play Ghana and used his rich experience to provide technical support to the Ghana Education Service to build teachers’ and education officials’ capacity to integrate play-based learning methodology into lesson delivery. Farouk is bilingual (English and French) and holds a master’s degree in NGO management and rural development.
