Jacob Wilkerson (he/him/his) is the digital fundraising associate at The Climate Reality Project. He earned a BA in political science and English from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Before joining Climate Reality, he worked as the research director at a progressive campaign consulting firm that specialized in helping underfunded candidates take on tough races against big money interests. He believes power belongs in the hands of the people and that the planet is ours to protect, not destroy. Jacob lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and in his spare time he can be found writing fiction, making music, admiring art, playing tennis, or spending time with his cat, Violet. He never goes anywhere without at least two books.
