Hello! My name is Jaehee Hwang Yu. I was born in the heart of South America, Paraguay, and raised in the Lone Star State, Texas, which I consider my home. My first encounter with climate issues was in high school when I watched the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” for an essay assignment. Little did I know that this moment would profoundly shape my future, leading me to join The Climate Reality Project.    I hold an MA in Educational Transformation, Advocacy and Policy from Georgetown University. Before joining Climate Reality, I worked as a public-school educator and events and concert tour coordinator. I describe myself as an extroverted introvert who enjoys watching shows, sleeping in, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
