(He/Him) Jason is a ORV regional organizer in the Appalachian region. He graduated with a double major in Sustainable Management and Business Management from Slippery Rock University. His current work focuses on supporting local grassroots organizations pushing back against petrochemical buildout in the Ohio River Valley. Before working for Climate Reality, Jason joined the leadership team for the Pittsburgh and Southwest PA Climate Reality chapter. Jason is also passionate about the intersection of disability and the climate change. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2018 and has since made it a goal to spread awareness about Eco Ableism. Shortly after his diagnosis he applied and was accepted for an Arctic expedition, that he went on in 2019, to gain leadership experience and learn more about climate change. In his free time, Jason enjoys hiking, kayaking, and nerding out with books and podcasts.
