Jenny Hernandez (she/her/ella) is the Latino climate justice framework program manager at GreenLatinos.  With nearly a decade in local government, she has been dedicated to climate solutions and community-based mitigation efforts. In her previous role, she concentrated on creating equitable pathways for electrification and innovative retrofit programs that dismantle systemic barriers for marginalized communities. She is deeply committed to ensuring that climate solutions are both fair and just for nuestra comunidad and ensuring a safe and healthy planet for future generations.  
 
She holds a bachelor’s in environmental science from Texas State University and is finishing up her PSM in environmental science at Oregon State University.
