(She/Her/Hers) Jill Leaness is the global youth programs director at The Climate Reality Project. A native of Pennsylvania, she completed her Bachelor of Science in environmental science with a minor in writing at Stockton University, a New Jersey state school located in the Pine Barrens of southern Jersey. She spent her undergraduate summers interning with both nonprofit environmental organizations in Pennsylvania and the National Park Service in Montana. After graduation Jill served as a community environmental conservation Peace Corps volunteer in the central mountains of Panama before completing her masters in environmental science at the University of Idaho. Jill spends a majority of her free time outside running, hiking, camping or enjoying a good book in her hammock.
