(He/Him/His) Joshua Beatty serves as the operations senior vice president for The Climate Reality Project, overseeing facilities, human resources, and IT/IS. He brings twenty-five years of operations and programmatic experience, including managing operations, new office start-up, and programs in more than 50 countries on six continents. Joshua previously held roles with Environmental Defense Fund, Institute of International Education, Madaba Institute for Mosaic Design and Restoration, Youth for Understanding, and the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Joshua has a BA from Saint Lawrence University and an MBA from Willamette University. He is fluent in Japanese and is a member of the JET Alumni Association of Washington, DC. He is also a regular volunteer and board member for Youth for Understanding’s exchange programs in West Africa, and serves on the board of Community Forklift, a non-profit dedicated to keeping construction materials out of landfills and creating green jobs.
