Klara Butz is a finance campaigner with Urgewald and The Climate Reality Project Europe. She coordinates Urgewald’s Finance Campaigner School, a program dedicated to equipping campaigners to run their own finance campaigns. Since joining Urgewald in 2022, Klara has worked to cut financial flows to fossil fuel companies, bringing her background in physics and meteorology to address the urgency of the climate crisis. She began her journey with Fridays for Future Austria, where she gained experience lobbying politicians, leading campaigns, and representing the movement in national media. Through her work at Urgewald and The Climate Reality Project Europe, Klara continues to drive impactful finance campaigns and build capacity among new campaigners.
