Laura Gardner (she/her), a National Board-certified teacher in library media, is teacher librarian at Dartmouth Middle School in Dartmouth, Massachusetts and co-chair of Climate Reality Massachusetts Southcoast chapter. Laura became a trained Climate Reality Leader in Minneapolis in 2019 and has since been advocating for an increase in renewables on the local level. She has presented locally, at the state level, and nationally on various topics including the climate crisis, how to be an ally for school librarians, and topics related to the school library profession. Professionally, Laura was awarded the Library Journal School Librarian of the Year Co-finalist Award in 2016. She's a huge reader, a mother, and bikes to work every day rain or shine.
