(She/Her/Hers) Lea L. Migliazza is the assistant general counsel at The Climate Reality Project. Lea provides general in-house legal advice regarding the organization's non-profit status, tax law, and employment law matters. Prior to joining Climate Reality, Lea was a fellow with the Nature Conservancy's in-house counsel department, where she provided legal advice on a wide-range of legal issues including the formation of climate change and energy reliance programs, tax law, social impact investing initiatives, and intellectual property related issues. Lea also clerked for the Environmental Protection Agency, the Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works, and Fairfax County's Land Use and Environmental Division. She graduated from George Mason University School of Law and holds a bachelor of arts from Tulane University.
