(She/Her/Hers) Michaela brings her passion for global engagement and sustainability to the role of Climate Training Manager. Originally from Connecticut, she completed her undergraduate studies in Government and Spanish from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. before turning to work in the international tourism sector, where she arranged cultural or art-focused trips for museum and university alumni groups. During her travels, Michaela witnessed the power of food to build community and its potential to drive sustainable development. These experiences inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in Food Studies from The American University of Rome, where she sought to deepen her knowledge of global food systems by delving into pathways for the sustainable transformation of current agricultural practices. In her free time, Michaela enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring new places.
