Miguel Bermudez (he/him) is pursuing a degree in international and global studies at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in humanities and cultural studies and a certificate in politics of race, ethnicity, gender, and identity. He is a Venezuelan immigrant living in Orlando, FL. Alongside his studies, Miguel serves as the district aide for a Florida representative. His dedication to community building and cultural preservation has led him to join Global Shapers Orlando, where he has been an active member for over a year and currently holds the position of vice-curator. Miguel’s commitment to environmental sustainability was deepened through his participation in the 2024 Climate Reality Leadership Corps training in New York.
