“As the World Bank comes together in Washington, DC this week for its spring meetings, climate action must be at the top of the agenda. Developing nations are already feeling the impacts of climate change first and worst, despite bearing the least responsibility for this crisis. These nations must have financial support to transition to clean energy and build resilience to impending climate shocks. Heavy-polluting nations created this problem and it's long past due for them to put up the funds to help solve it. There is no more time. The World Bank must make combatting climate change a priority, including through its Evolution Roadmap.”
