Mr. Regan’s strong record of leadership at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, including ordering the nation’s largest clean-up of coal ash contamination, make him an inspired choice to lead this vital federal agency.

“The EPA is our nation’s most important line of defense against the climate crisis and pollution of our air, land, and water, which too often disproportionately impacts frontline communities and people of color.
