Rachael Bennett is a student at American University pursuing a degree in graphic and visual communication design with a minor in computer science. At school she is a Division I athlete on the women’s volleyball team. She currently sits on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as well as the American University Black Athlete Coalition. Both committees place an emphasis on providing a voice for student-athletes and creating volunteer opportunities for student-athletes throughout the DC area. In the future, Rachael hopes to pursue a career in either front-end website development or editorial design as well as photography. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys weight lifting, reading, spending time with family, and playing brain games and cards.
