Raimondo Orsini is the director of the Sustainable Development Foundation, a not-for-profit organization based in Rome, with 150 companies and business associations funding members. The Foundation cooperates with government, the business world, and academia, sharing technical studies, research activities, events, and training. He earned a degree in environmental law and a master’s degree in sustainable transport systems. Raimondo is an author and lecturer and speaker at international conferences. From 1999 to 2005, he was the leader of FS/Trenitalia environment team, and from 2005 to 2008, he was the senior advisor at International Union of Railways and chairman of C02 emissions expert group and the environmental communication expert group.
