Saad Amer
Founder, Justice Environment
(He/him) Saad Amer is a climate activist and the founder of Justice Environment, which helps businesses, governments, and nonprofits navigate sustainability and the just transition. He is a consultant to the United Nations and served as an expert reviewer for the IPCC AR6 report. As a major voting rights organizer, he’s organized campaigns featuring Vice President Al Gore, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Taylor Swift. He has written for NatGeo, PBS, and the World Bank and has spoken at the UN, US State Department, and TEDx. He’s also been featured in British Vogue, Nature, and the New York Times. Amer went to Harvard University, where he studied environmental science and public policy, and was a fellow at Yale University’s Public Voices on the Climate Crisis.
