Sara Vegni has been an activist in civic, social, and environmental organizations for more than 20 years, and is an expert in participative practices and processes. From 2003 to 2009, she was the head of campaigns for A Sud. In 2009, she was dedicated to community processes in her hometown of Aquila, after the earthquake there. From 2012 to 2021, she worked for Actionaid as an expert in community resiliency and post-disaster accountability. In 2021, she returned to A Sud as the head of advocacy.
