Taylor Thomas (she/her/hers) is a second-year Master of Public Policy student at American University. Before beginning her graduate program, Taylor received a BA in Public Policy and Theatre from the University of Maryland. In her academic and professional careers, Taylor is committed to studying climate and ocean justice. Prior to joining The Climate Reality Project team, she worked at Ocean Conservancy as an ocean justice coordinator, developing training and educational materials about the intersections between climate-ocean issues and social injustices. Taylor is a Baltimore native, and her upbringing in the city exposed her to the climate injustices she now strives to counteract. Taylor now lives in DC and spends her free time seeing DC theater and trying out as many coffee shops as possible.
