Terry Saucier
Co-Owner, MPower Engineering, Inc.; Program & Sustainability Chair, The Climate Reality Project San Fernando Valley Chapter
Terry Saucier (she/her) has always been a passionate community and environmental advocate. In 2015, in an effort to have a greater impact, she joined the Tarzana Neighborhood Council, where she chairs its Outreach Committee and co-chairs the annual Earth Day Festival. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance. Increasingly concerned about climate change, she participated in Climate Reality’s 2018 training in Los Angeles, and soon joined Climate Reality’s San Fernando Valley chapter, where she is the program and sustainability chair. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Climate Reality’s Biodiversity and Ecosystem Committee. In 2023, she created the SoCal Stop Artificial Turf Task Force coalition, which is working to get a ban on new installations of artificial turf in Los Angeles and surrounding communities. Terry is co-owner of MPower Engineering, Inc., a family-owned company that manufactures wheelchair accessibility products for the transportation industry. Originally from Windsor, CT, she and her husband, Stanton, raised their family in Tarzana, and today their home menagerie includes a cat, two dogs, and chickens. When she's not advocating for a stronger and healthier community, she’s hiking, gardening, and enjoying the company of her family and friends.
