Terry Saucier (she/her) is co-owner of MPower Engineering, Inc., a company that manufactures wheelchair accessibility products for the transportation industry. She worked at an elementary school for eight years, and her background is in public relations. As a parent and environmentalist, she became increasingly concerned about climate change and participated in Climate Reality’s 2018 training in Los Angeles. It wasn’t long before she joined Climate Reality’s San Fernando Valley chapter, where she serves as the program and sustainability chair. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Climate Reality Biodiversity and Ecosystem Committee. Terry serves on her town’s neighborhood council and is a member of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance. In 2023, she created the SoCal Stop Artificial Turf Task Force and serves as the chair. The collation includes Climate Reality’s Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley chapters, the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance, and others. They are currently working to get a ban on all new installations of artificial turf in Los Angeles and surrounding communities. She is a proud mom of two adult children and lives in Tarzana, California with her husband, cat, dogs, and chickens. When she isn’t doing her advocacy work or working, you’ll find her visiting with family and friends, gardening, or hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains.
