(she/her) Cate is the Youth Engagement Associate at The Climate Reality Project. She grew up in Boston and in high school she worked as a member of the city’s Green Team to clean and restore polluted urban wilds near her home. Motivated to understand and address the connections between environmental and health injustices, she studied Health Sciences and Environmental Studies at Northeastern University. Prior to working with The Climate Reality Project, Cate was an organizer for climate and health campaigns with Massachusetts Peace Action, Justice is Global, and student organizations at Northeastern. She also has experience developing young leaders in efforts for climate justice from her time working as a Crew Leader for Boston’s youth Green Team. Outside of work, Cate enjoys running, hiking, traveling, going to the beach, and baking.
