Heaven Sensky
Organizing Director, Center for Coalfield Justice
Heaven Sensky (she/her) is the organizing director at the Center for Coalfield Justice (CCJ), serving Southwestern Pennsylvania on issues of fossil fuel extraction, including ongoing coal mining and unconventional oil and gas development. She is a first-generation college student, having received a BA in economics and government from American University. Before CCJ, she was a facilitator with the AU Center for Diversity and Inclusion. She had internships with The Women and Girls Foundation, US Senator Bob Casey, and The Office of Barrack and Michelle Obama. She is committed to serving her hometown by lifting the voices of those in her community that have historically been disenfranchised.
