Laura Faulk (she/her) holds a degree in physics from The University of Texas at Austin and worked in the semiconductor manufacturing industry as an engineer and manager. In 2019, she founded Climate Reality’s Capital Region, NY chapter and is on its leadership team. She is the co-facilitator of the NYS Climate Reality Coalition and a member of the Coalition's advocacy and Our Climate Moment working groups. Laura is on the board of Sustainable Saratoga, chair of the Saratoga Springs Climate Smart Task Force, and a member of the environmental justice-focused Sheridan Hollow Alliance for Renewable Energy and Albany Presbytery's Peacemaking Task Force. In 2023, she was awarded the Alfredo Sirkis Memorial Green Ring Award by Vice President Al Gore.
