Yasmeen Shaheen-McConnell
Senior Advisor for Strategic Partnerships, AmeriCorps
Yasmeen Shaheen-McConnell (she/her) serves in the Biden-Harris Administration as AmeriCorps’ senior advisor for strategic partnerships, leading the partnerships team in developing interagency and public-private partnerships. Yasmeen’s focus is on key administration priorities, such as climate, workforce development, democracy, and partnering with Native Nations. Most recently, she served as managing director of strategic partnerships at Service Year Alliance, where she led initiatives including the Serve America Together campaign and stakeholder engagement to build out the national service network. She earned a bachelor's degree from George Washington University and a master's degree from Harvard Divinity School.
