Climate Reality Leader Trained in Chicago in 2013
(He/Him) Wei-Tai Kwok trained in Chicago in 2013 to become a Climate Reality Leader and since then has delivered 143 personalized presentations to local community groups, schools, and businesses using Vice President Al Gore's slides. He has volunteered as a mentor at numerous trainings and as a co-founder and officer of the Climate Reality SF Bay Area Chapter. In 2018, Climate Reality honored him with the Alfredo Sirkis Memorial Green Ring Award. Professionally, he works in renewable energy with a current focus on thermal energy storage, ultralightweight solar panels, and hydrogen fuel cells, while also serving as a Lafayette City Council Member. Wei-Tai holds a degree in economics & political science from Yale University.
