HISTORY
In 2020, students and Climate Reality Leaders in Los Angeles campaigned and won commitments from the city's unified school and community college districts to reach 100% clean energy by 2040.
Several of the Leaders involved – Simon Aron, Michael Zelniker, Sybil Azur, and Calum Worthy – recognized these victories could be a model for schools and districts across the country.
Partnering with a new generation of young Leaders including Ava Acevedo, Natalia Armenta, Simon Aron, and Lily Morse, they launched Green Schools Campaign to share their experience and empower students to drive change in schools from coast to coast.
